Most supports are designed to be installed by hand, and do not require assembly equipment. Supports are available in nylon, aluminum, brass, and rubber to form the largest selection of options in the industry. Stackable supports allow an endless array of design options.

Terminology

Snap-Lock

A device that is pushed through a hole in a panel or chassis and snaps or springs open on the other side to produce a mechanical lock.
To remove: squeeze or pinch the locking device.

Snap-Fit

A device that is pushed through a hole in a panel or chassis and snaps or springs open on the other side to produce a mechanical lock.
To remove: simply pull or push, no pinching required.

Spacing Heights

If you do not see the spacing height you require for your application, most circuit board supports are available in custom spacing heights via special order. Tooling and minimum quantity (10,000) requirements may apply. Please contact the factory to discuss specifications.

Richco maintains the widest selection in the industry of plastic circuit board supports. Should you not see the combination of locking devices to meet your requirements, please consult the factory to discuss your application. Tooling and minimum quantity (10,000) requirements may apply.

Color

Most circuit board supports, which are manufactured in Nylon 6/6, RMS-01, can be dyed almost any color for identification purposes. Delivery takes approximately 2 to 4 weeks, providing that the natural nylon part is in stock. Please contact the factory to discuss applications. Dyed parts cannot be color matched. Color matched parts must be made with minimum order of 10,000 pieces.

Stress Relieved Parts

For use of products in extremely dry conditions, most circuit board supports manufactured in Nylon 6/6, RMS-01, can be "Stress Relieved" to retard moisture evaporation from the part. To order, add SR after the part number. Consult the factory to discuss applications. (Available only in U.S.)

Special Packaging

Most Richco parts come "standard packed" 1,000 pieces per bag. Circuit board hardware can be specially packed in any quantity as a special order. Minimum order requirements may apply. Please consult the factory to discuss application.
