3M™ Electrical Filament Tape 1039, 23" x 60 yds., on paper core, is made of an electrical-grade polyester film backing, reinforced with scrim glass filaments, with a chemically resistant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. The 1039 tape construction offers a strong tape backing with an adhesive that provides a durable bond to substrates. It is designed to withstand such stress as the high-speed coil winding process used for making dry-type transformers.
