Manufactured from 1.6mm FR4. Designed to allow single height extender card assemblies to be stacked to form IEC multiple height cards. Meets the dimensional requirements for IEC card frames.

Moulded in Grey fire retardant ABS material - Clamshell - style enclosure with removable end panels for simplified assembly and test. Modular construction using side spacers and a rigid fixing system screwed together through the base of the housing . the front panels have 2 positions in the moulding allowing the standard 1.6mm Aluminium panel or a 3mm thick aluminium or plastic panel to be fitted.
