This flame retardant tape is designed for EMI/RFI shielding applications, such as the shielding of small, electromagnetic components and the repair and modification of printed wiring boards. It comes on a removable liner for easy die cutting and handling. The tape is rated for 600V dry applications.

For heat shielding applications such as wrapping over and along thermal insulation, use 3M™ High Temperature Aluminum Foil Tape 433L.
